Create Your Customer Account

You must create a user account to access the customer site to take advantage of the many recreational opportunities available to you. When creating your account, you only need to provide the required information. However, you are encouraged to provide as much information as possible.

Complete the following required steps and any optional steps, as necessary, to create your account:

  1. On the customer site, click Create New Account.
  2. On the Create Profile page, enter information in the required text boxes, then click Next:

    Note: Some profile information is auto-populated based on information entered on the Create New Customer page and cannot be modified.

    • Personal Information - Enter name, address, email, and phone number.
    • Identifying Characteristics - Enter identifying characteristics such as hair, eye color, and gender. This information can be used to readily identify you.
    • Communication Preferences - Select the Email and Mobile Phone options if you want to receive communications from the state. Or you can opt out of future communications.
    • Additional Info - Upload and enter information such as veteran status, disabled status, landowner information, property owner information, etc.
  3. Click Next.
  4. In the Choose Address dialog box, select the correct address and click Confirm. Or click Edit and update the address information.
  5. (Optional) On the Create Username page, perform one of the following tasks:

    Note: Username is case-sensitive.

    • To create a username to access your account, enter a unique username in the Username text box and click Save.
    • To return to the Create Profile page and change your email address, click Cancel.
    • To bypass the option to create a user name for your account, click Skip.
  6. On the Review Summary page, review your profile information and perform one of the following tasks:
    • If the profile information is correct, click Yes.
    • If the information is not accurate, click No or click the Edit icon to return to the Create Profile page and update or change your profile information.

    A confirmation email will be sent to the email address listed during the account creation process.
